Description
The Evertz 5600MSC is a professional broadcast-grade Master Sync Pulse Generator (SPG) and Master Clock designed to deliver stable reference signals for broadcast facilities, live production environments, post-production suites, transmission sites and studio timing systems. It combines a high-stability oscillator with flexible output configuration to provide synchronisation across complex video and audio infrastructures.
🔑 Key Features
🕒 High-Stability Reference & Clocking
-
Built-in temperature-controlled oscillator providing very low frequency drift (better than 0.005 ppm or 0.5 × 10⁻⁹ in many configurations).
-
10 MHz reference output and support for external reference input (5 MHz/10 MHz).
-
Optional GPS time/frequency reference module (locks to external GPS for national timing accuracy).
📺 Sync & Timing Outputs
-
Six independently timeable reference outputs via BNC that can be programmed as bi-level (black burst) or tri-level sync signals
-
Outputs can be configured as combinations of analogue black burst and tri-level sync depending on system needs.
⏱️ Time Code & Word Clock
-
Two independent LTC (Longitudinal Time Code) outputs for time tagging and logging systems.
-
Optional word clock outputs and support for additional timing signal generation.
🔄 Optional Test & Monitoring Tools
-
Test signal generator outputs (SD SDI, HD SDI) for equipment testing and monitoring.
-
Analogue test signals (DARS, AES, audio tones).
🛠️ Control & Redundancy
-
Front-panel alphanumeric display with buttons for local configuration.
-
Redundant power supply for mission-critical uptime.
-
We can supply standalone or as a pair with a 5600ACO2 for redundancy.
