The Evertz 5601MSC Master SPG/Clock is a professional-grade master sync pulse generator (SPG) and master clock system designed to provide precise timing and reference signals for broadcast, live production and post-production facilities. It ensures stable, accurate synchronization across video, audio and data equipment in complex broadcast infrastructures.

🕒 High-Stability Reference & Clocking

• Provides a master clock and sync pulse generation with exceptional stability using a temperature-controlled oscillator. › Frequency drift better than 1.0×10⁻⁸ (0.01 ppm).

• Outputs include 10 MHz and 5 MHz frequency references and configurable sync signals for system timing.

📺 Sync & Timing Outputs

• Six independently timeable reference outputs that can be programmed for bi-level (black burst) or tri-level sync signals.

• Support for vertical interval time code (VITC) on selected outputs.

⏱️ Time Code & Protocol Support

• Dual longitudinal time code (LTC) outputs and options for IRIG time code.

• Can act as an NTP server for network-based time distribution

🔄 External Referencing Options

• Can be referenced to external clocks (5 MHz/10 MHz), GPS/GLONASS receivers, or other high-stability sources to align multiple installations.
