The Lynx Technik OBD-1810 is a compact bidirectional SDI-to-fibre optic transceiver system designed for transporting uncompressed broadcast-quality SDI signals over long distances using a single fibre link. It is supplied as a matched pair of modules (Type A and Type B) that communicate over a WDM optical connection, allowing simultaneous send and receive of SDI signals over one fibre.

🎥 SDI Video Support

  • Supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI formats (up to 1080p60 / 3 Gb/s).

  • Compatible with 3G-SDI Level A and Level B standards.

🔁 Bidirectional Transmission

  • Send and receive SDI simultaneously using a single simplex fibre.

  • Utilises WDM (wavelength-division multiplexing) so two signals can travel over the same fibre.
