We are proud to announce the successful design and installation of a new broadcast control room at the Telegraph Media Groups HQ in London Victoria. This was an exciting project for us as the fast paced 24/7 environment at the Telegraph demanded a streamlined system which could be easily handled by all.
The ethic behind our brief from TMG was a “one button solution”, with this in mind the Multilink design called upon the unique technology and capabilities of Axon’s Cerebrum automation system. Control of the whole system is presented to the user through Cerebrum’s touchscreen and hardware interface panels installed in the studio, control room and on the news room floor allowing fast and straightforward set-up of this multipurpose space.
To provide flexibility for a wide variety of uses, Multilink’s solution incorporated a SAM Vega asymmetric router, Lynx Technik signal processing, Axia Livewire audio and Custom Consoles Module-R furniture system alongside Telegraph’s existing Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E vision mixer, Tools On Air ingest and Media Excel streaming platform.
With the system having its first use on the 9th August it is now online 24/7 ever ready for the next creative burst for many years to come.
